You should also avoid, at all times, using soap or carpet cleaning solution on wool carpet unless you are perfectly sure that they have pH between 4.5 and 8.5. For those of you wondering what pH is, pH is a measure of the acidity of a solution. The lower the pH the more acidic the solution is, and the higher the pH the more basic or alkaline the solution is. A good wool carpet cleaning solution should have its pH measured at around 7, because pH 7 is considered to be natural. Anything too acidic or too basic can cause unwanted damages such as dyes bleed. You should also avoid using cleaning solution with bleaching materials or substances because it can cause wool to dissolve, damaging your precious carpet even more.
By the time Chris and I finished out little conversation, my carpet was properly cleaned; the stain has completely been removed.
